Format: Presentations by panellists, discussion with panel and attendees

Educational experts will provide different national perspectives on recent policy on health professions’ education and examples of changes that have improved educational as well as clinical practice. Discussion will explore similarities and differences, educational and clinical outcomes (intended and unintended), and opportunities for learning across borders to improve health and healthcare.

During this session you will be able to:

  • Learn about trends in educational policy and practice that affect health professions’ education around the world
  • Explore with the panel similarities and differences in national approaches
  • Question educational authorities about emerging policies and add to the discussion from your own professional experience
