In the past five years several pilot projects have been developed to reward providers based upon achieving quality targets. This presentation will discuss lessons learned from these initiatives. The presentation will also include the evolution of a pay-for-performance programme at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts over the past five years.
