Director Clinical Governance, ADK Hospital; Maldives

As Director Clinical Governance, Dr Faisal Saeed is leading the quality improvement, patient safety and risk management mechanism at ADK Hospital. Since his pledge to “spark a revolution in the Maldives healthcare system” made at the International Forum on Quality and Safety in Paris, he underwent a bespoke programme on patient safety provided by Healthcare Improvement Scotland, spent time as a visiting researcher at the Centre for Quality in Denmark, and worked at the Agency for Clinical Innovation in NSW, Australia as an Endeavour Executive Fellow.

He is an NHS Certificated Change Agent, and also a Fellow of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare.
