Jamiu Busari, is an associate professor of medical education at Maastricht University and a consultant Paediatrician, Department chair and program director of the Paediatric residency program at Zuyderland Medical Centre Heerlen, the Netherlands. Jamiu has a wealth of (inter)national experience in the fields of postgraduate training, curriculum development, quality assurance and quality improvement in health care delivery, having trained and worked in Africa, the Caribbean, Europe and North America. His current areas of research include investigating, designing and developing innovative strategies for managerial and leadership competency development in junior physicians.
