Liz Lamb is a leader of quality, safety and accreditation at BC Children’s hospital in Vancouver, Canada. Her passion for innovation combined with her experience in paediatric nursing and quality improvement led her to champion a pilot project using design thinking methodology to co-design a better way to prepare children and families for surgery.Her career spans the UK and Canada and previous roles include leader of innovation and engagement at the BC Patient Safety Quality Council, improvement coach with the child youth mental health substance use collaborative, and quality improvement advisor for Doctors of BC.
