Harish Kumar, a pediatrician by training, has 38 years of experience in clinical and program management. He has worked with Government of India for 23 years and with UN systems for 12 years including the India offices of the WHO, UNICEF and UNDP as well as the WHO Bangladesh office. Dr. Kumar has authored 25 publications, and has contributed to the development of more than 20 national guidelines and training packages. He has supported adaptation and/or trainings on integrated management of childhood infections (IMCI) in countries across Asia, Africa and Europe. Under his leadership, several innovations are being scaled up in India.
