Director of Transformation and Quality Improvement, NHS Highland; Scotland

Gill has a clinical background, trained as a nurse, midwife and in community health as well as health economics. She left clinical practice in order to focus on quality improvement and then went into clinical and general management, latterly holding the post of Director of Operations for rural Highland due to a deep interest in remote and rural issues. She is now Director of Transformation and Quality Improvement which allows her to focus on her passion of continuous improvement, empowerment, mentoring and people development. She is a certified Lean Leader and Coach.
