The milestones in QMJ will be described and guidance on how to how to apply quality measurement principles and methods to daily work will be offered. Participants will be provided with worksheets to help them track their QMJ and make sure they are on the right path.

- Selecting and naming measures
- Building clear operational definitions
- Developing data collection plans
- Understanding variation both conceptually and statistically
- Linking measurement efforts to improvement goals
