Remote Participation Programme

The Remote Participation Programme provides you with an innovative platform that harnesses the world class presentations and discussions in Paris and delivers their core messages direct to your local target communities.

The Remote Participation Programme comprises recorded presentations and Keynote speakers from Paris to provide a basis for organisations to host local Quality Improvement events and stimulate ongoing and subsequent Quality Improvement initiatives. Access to our catalogue of recorded presentations from past Forums is also available.

From this material, the agenda for each remote participation event is specifically tailored by you for your target community’s requirements ensuring that the expert knowledge and experience transferred from the International Forum is relevant, actionable and in line with the message that you wish to convey.

BMJ Group editorial staff provides detailed advice on how to structure and manage a successful remote event and offer clear guidance on suitable presentations and agenda to ensure a focused outcome.

Compile Your Own Bespoke Agenda

  • Using recorded content from Paris 2012 you can create your own remote Quality Improvement event; from one-day and one location to; multiple concurrent presentations in different break out rooms to; multiple days and multiple locations to; on-line, at desk delivery
  • As the sponsoring host you will also be able to incorporate your own chairperson, facilitator and ‘Ask the Faculty’ Q&A panel into the agenda for your event
  • Your Programme can be scheduled to be held from one to six months after the Forum

Available content and facilities include:

  • 8 Keynote lectures
  • 45 selected presentations from Paris and additional recorded material from the Forum
  • Access to all poster presentations
  • Dedicated clinical editorial support from the BMJ’s remote participation team in consultation with experts from the International Forum’s faculty provide advice on all pre-event planning and organisation with guidance on structuring, managing and facilitating the agenda and remote participation day
  • Pre- and post-conference brochures with full details of all recorded presentations and technical requirements for your local event
  • Access to our catalogue of recorded presentations from past Forums is also available
  • Following your local event, online access to all sessions filmed at the International Forum can be provided to all your participants

Further Details on the ‘Ask the Faculty’ Session

  • ‘Ask the Faculty’ sessions comprise a studio panel session with 3-4 Forum participants (usually renowned experts chosen by you) and your representative(s) where a Q&A on Quality Improvement relevant to your organisation is recorded, to fit in with your required Remote Participation Event agenda
  • Your discussion topic and questions can be submitted to the ‘Ask the Faculty’ panel prior to the Forum. Full guidance and support for this, including topic and panel selection and discussion points can be provided by BMJ Group editorial staff
