Trained initially in oncology at Hammersmith Hospital, London and then psychiatry at Northwick Park and the MRC Clinical Research Centre under Professor Tim Crow. Consultant Psychiatrist and Director of Medical Education for 14 years at East London. Research background in genetic epidemiology of schizophrenia. Now Director of Global Health. Numerous awards for clinical practice, research and QI/innovation and education. 15 years experience working with communities in Africa and Asia to further mutually beneficial learning and service development. Founded award-winning Uganda-East London Global Health Partnership considered a model for sustainable development and a key global network contributor.
