Lauren is currently studying for a Bachelor of Media and Communications at Macquarie University, and has co-developed an art program called \u2018Photographing Voices\u2019 with Jourdan Emily Hancock for the Youth Arts Program (YAP). Lauren also spoke at the 2020 Health Leadership Conference to share her story and experience in the healthcare system. Lauren is passionate about the importance of art making within the healthcare system and how it positively impacts sick people and assists with their recovery.
