She has over 30 years of experience with large multinational healthcare organisations in which she led multiple large-scale projects to improve healthcare systems and patient outcomes. With a doctoral degree in Engineering, a master\u2019s degree in Pharmacology and a BPharm degree, Dena brings a unique blend of clinical know-how and systems engineering perspectives to her work. She is a committed systems improvement global researcher and an honorary lecturer at UCT Dept. of Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases. Dena is the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Leadership in Quality Improvement in South Africa for her work across public and private hospitals in SA.
