Dr Alison Gale MB ChB, FRCOG, MMedEd, FAcadMEd is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (2001 -) and Director of Postgraduate Medical Education at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals (2013 -).

She has held educational leadership roles at local, regional and national levels; including Training Programme Director, Health Education North West School of Obstetrics and Gynaecology; Simulation Lead for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (2009-2016) and NACT UK Council representative for the North West (2014-2016). She is a current MRCOG Examiner and a member of the MRCOG Part 3 subcommittee.
