Senior Improvement Manager, 1000 Lives Improvement Service; Wales

Kathryn qualified as a midwife in 2005 from Swansea University and has worked in a number of areas within maternity services. In February 2015, she was appointed as the Clinical Risk Manager Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board, responsible for assessing risk and supporting the governance of maternity services.

In December 2016, Kathryn was appointed as National Project Lead: Safer Pregnancy. The national safer pregnancy project supports the National Stillbirth Working Group within the Maternity Network. In March 2017 Kathryn was appointed as OBS Cymru National Lead Midwife for 1000 Lives Improvement.
