Assistant Director, Improvement Programmes, The Health Foundation; UK

Sarah is Assistant Director of Improvement Programmes at the Health Foundations and provides leadership and oversight to the organisation’s funding programmes. She is particularly focused on the challenges of scaling in health care and leads the organisation’s work on exploring social franchising and other scaling mechanisms in practice. Sarah was previously Director of Operations at the HELIX Centre, a collaboration between Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, which brings designers, clinicians, engineers and business experts together to solve complex health challenges. Prior to this, Sarah was a Policy Fellow at the Institute of Global Health Innovation, Imperial College London and has a background in operational NHS management.
