Metrics like the IF don&#8217;t necessarily reflect a real-world impact, especially in healthcare. What even is real-world impact?<br>In this session we will examine different viewpoints of real-world impact and what impact means in the world of Quality and Safety. We will take examples from academic citation impact as well and looking at the real-world impact these types of journals have had looking at influence in policy, clinical guidance and clinical decision support.<\/p><br><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a result of this session, participants will be able to:<\/span><\/p><br><ul><br><li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Understand the life of an article after publication, this session is a good follow-up to the &#8220;Tips for Getting Published Session&#8221; (Thursday, 11:00).
