Format: Online session There is no Planet B. The climate crisis is the single greatest health challenge of the 21st century. Health systems are increasingly treating the negative consequences of climate change, many of which are disproportionately distributed. Healthcare is also increasingly managing the direct and indirect impacts However, the healthcare sector internationally faces an urgent call to action to reduce its carbon footprint and protect communities from climate threats, as one of the largest polluters and resource users. We will share our breath of experience of leading globally and locally toward improving progress to net zero. We will discuss opportunities and challenges and provide tangible examples of approaches and demonstrable impacts.
