As Program Director for Value Improvement at the Heart Hospital, Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar, her work has been highly successful and gained local and international attention. Dr Gupta is trained as an Improvement Advisor and Patient Safety Executive from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (Boston, USA). She holds a Lean for Healthcare from the University of Tennessee (USA).
Her work has spanned India, the Middle East and the United Kingdom, allowing her to gain valuable insights and contribute to healthcare improvement on a global scale.
Dr. Gupta is a prolific author with numerous papers and abstracts published in international peer-reviewed journals, along with contributing to teaching resources. Additionally, she holds the role of Assistant Deputy Editor for the ISQua Journal (International Journal for Quality in Healthcare). To date, she has earned more than 15 awards for several QIPS initiatives and has been a local and international speaker at various quality improvement and patient safety forums.
