Currently, she is a Trustee of many charities including the British Youth Opera, Barts Charity, BMA Foundation and the chair of BMA Giving. Parveen has received many honorary degrees and fellowships. She was given the BMJ award for \u2018outstanding contribution to health\u2019 in 2019.
