He previously held appointments as a researcher at the Free<br>University Academic Hospital in Amsterdam, as senior researcher and assistant professor at the<br>Academic Medical Center in Amsterdam, and as Honorary Senior Research Fellow at NIHR<br>ARC West, University of Bristol, UK.<\/span><\/p><br><p><span data-sheets-root=\"1\"><br>In 2023, Brent Opmeer joined Vilans, national center of expertise for health and care, in Utrecht,<br>NL, as a senior researcher in the Monitoring and Impact group. His overall ambition is to help<br>unlock the potential of health care data for secondary use to improve healthcare quality and<br>efficiency.
