Director of the Su\u00f0urnes Health Institute, the Head of Corporate Affairs at Creditinfo, the President
of the Municipal Council and Deputy Mayor of Reykjanesb\u00e6r, and a deputy member of Parliament of
Iceland. She has served on numerous boards and committees, such as Arion Bank, the Savings Bank
in Keflav\u00edk, the Consumer Association of Iceland, Icelandic delegation to the United Nations
Conference on Women, the Family Council of the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Icelandic Fire and
Rescue Service, Waterworks of Su\u00f0urnes, Natural catastrophe insurance of Iceland, the Association
of Municipalities in Su\u00f0urnes, and a committee that drafted new laws on fire protection in Iceland.<\/span><\/p>
