Dr Dhingra leads JCI global efforts in providing strategic leadership on patient safety and promotes all aspects of JCI\u2019s patient safety activities internationally and has also been appointed Honorary Senior Faculty of IPSQ, Singapore and a Life Member of ISQua\u2019s Academy of Quality and Safety. Prior to joining JCI from June 2024, she served for 25 years leading the WHO-HQ\u2019s programs on patient safety and blood safety in Geneva. Her most recent position was Unit Head, Patient Safety Flagship, WHO-Geneva. Under her leadership, several key milestones were achieved including WHO Flagship Initiative \u201cA Decade of Patient Safety 2021-2030\u201d, WHO Global Patient Safety Report 2024, WHA resolution \u2018Global Action on Patient Safety\u2019, \u2018Global Patient Safety Action Plan 2021-2030&#8242;, World Patient Safety Day, Global Patient Safety Network, Patient Engagement and Medication Without Harm Challenge.<\/span><\/p><br><br><p><\/p><br>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joint Commission International; Switzerland Dr Neelam Dhingra is Vice President and Chief Patient Safety Officer for Joint Commission International (JCI).
