He is a Senior Consultant in Internal Medicine, Respiratory Medicine and Intensive Care Medicine and a Clinical Associate Professor appointed by NUS School of Medicine.<\/span><\/p><br><p><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">His educational interests are in crisis resource management in acute care, medical professionalism and cognitive error in clinical decision making.<\/span><\/p><br><p><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">In 2024 Dr Chua was awarded the Outstanding Clinician Educator Award at the National Medical Excellence Awards (Singapore).<\/span><\/p><br><p><span data-sheets-root=\"1\">For over 25 years of service to public healthcare he was conferred the Public Administration Medal (Bronze) in 2020.
