After obtaining her nursing license in 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor of Nursing with Honours from SIT in 2018. Throughout her nursing career, she has gained diverse experience in oncology, rehabilitation, agency nursing, and outpatient care. During the COVID-19 endemic in Singapore, Bernice received the Commendation Medal (COVID-19) and the COVID-19 Resilience Medal in recognition of her contributions.<\/span><\/p><br><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the core of her practice is a steadfast commitment to patient safety, aligning with her personal and professional values. Driven by a passion for quality improvement, she pursued a Master\u2019s degree in Patient Safety and Healthcare Quality at Duke-NUS in 2023. This advanced education has enhanced her understanding of systemic challenges and empowered her to contribute meaningfully to healthcare transformation.<\/span><\/p><br><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, Bernice&#8217;s role requires her to be actively engaged in patient safety and quality initiatives at her institution&#8217;s outpatient clinics.
