The International Forum in the Asia Pacific Region showcases internationally recognised keynotes and addresses regional needs, bringing the best of international learning to the region and the conference programme is developed in close partnership with regional strategic partners. The event aims to bring together healthcare professionals who share a concern and a passion for improving quality and safety in healthcare, to provide the opportunity for healthcare professionals to publish their work as a poster or to be a speaker, to share and learn best practices, meet peers and build international connections.

Themed Transforming Quality for Tomorrow, the programme in Taipei 2019 will tackle the biggest issues of today and prepare you for those of tomorrow. It will challenge you to consider how through innovative projects, collaborative working and a passion for change we can transform outcomes for patients and their communities.

Explore our Conference Proceedings to learn from over 300 of the poster abstracts that were on display in Melbourne. The work volunteered by abstract authors for inclusion in this booklet is a reflection and a celebration of what the global quality improvement community has achieved over the past few years. You can find projects submitted from teams in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan.

The spring International Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare is one of the world’s largest conferences for healthcare professionals committed to improving patient care and safety, with over 3,400 delegates from 70+ countries attending our latest conference in Glasgow, Scotland.
Our next spring International Forum will take place on Tuesday, 28 – Thursday, 30 April 2020 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
