Demand for care continues to rise as people live longer and often require more complex care, while staff shortages and the need to contain costs force hospitals to work more efficiently than ever before. These challenges make it essential to find smart, reliable ways to optimize patient flow across the hospital \u2014 while also improving the workplace wellbeing of healthcare professionals.<\/p> This session will explore what Real Time Demand and Capacity Management (RTDC) is, how it works, and what makes it so effective. We will highlight the impressive results achieved in two Dutch hospitals and discuss the key conditions for successful implementation.
