She holds a BA in History and a PhD in Social Science from The University of Queensland, Australia, specialising in oral history, social anthropology and ethnography of multiculturalism and minority belonging. She has worked on research around migration experiences, health care resilience, dementia family care and health workforce across the UK, Ireland and Australia.
