Dr. Borem has led more than 15 large-scale initiatives in Portugal, Brazil, and Africa to reduce hospital-acquired infections, maternal deaths, unnecessary cesarean sections, and post-operative deaths and improve Joy in Work. He is also responsible for IHI&#8217;s Improvement Advisor training courses in Portuguese-speaking countries.
