Quality and Safety Improvement Manager, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board; Wales

Joy has a rare combination of experience incorporating nursing and improvement roles across the healthcare community from Primary Care to tertiary services. The past 16 years have been as a leader of improvement. Joy was seconded to the all-Wales 1000 Lives Campaign where she worked nationally as an Improvement Advisor. Currently she is Quality and Safety Improvement Manager in one of the largest healthcare organizations in the UK and is an Executive Coach. She has a part time secondment to the Wales Deanery to support the integration of QI skills into post graduate specialty doctor and dentist training.
