Dr. Wui-Chiang Lee

Dr. Lee is currently the Chief of Department of Medical Affairs and Planning, Taipei Veterans General Hospital, one of the leading medical centers and world-known tertiary hospital in Taiwan. He is also an adjunct associate professor at the National Yang-Ming University School of Medicine, Taiwan. Dr. Lee holds MD degree from the National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan; PhD and MHS of Health Policy and Management from Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Lee has engaged in quality improvement and patient safety for more than 10 years and he has served the Board of International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) and chaired its Education Committee since 2014. Dr. Lee was the President of Asian Society for Quality in Health Care (2013-2016) , former Director general of Department of Medical Affairs, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan and former CEO of Joint Commission of Taiwan.
