Rami Okasha

Rami Okasha is a graduate of the University of Aberdeen and Queen Margaret University, with a background in public sector leadership and policy. He the Scottish Care Inspectorate’s Executive Director of Strategy and Improvement, leading national improvement programmes, new scrutiny methodology, care intelligence, and public involvement. He co-chaired the development of new national care standards across health and social care provision in Scotland, working with people who use care to ensure these are outcomes-focused, based on human rights and wellbeing, and person-led. He previously occupied senior roles advising political leaders and in developing educational policy.
