Community Manager, Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI); USA

Gina Deitz is a Community Manager at the IHI Open School. She manages the IHI Open School’s Chapter Network, working directly with over 900 Chapters in 85 countries as they innovate, collaborate, and activate health care professionals, students, and trainees to improve health and health care. In her role, Gina is responsible for the strategy and operations for building the capacity, sustainability, and strength of this growing global network.

From 2014 to 2016, Gina supported the Open School’s successful campaign to mobilize over 30,000 students to take action to improve the health of their communities. Before joining IHI, Gina served in roles in the realm of violence prevention and was drawn to addressing broader health disparities and improving the quality of care delivered across communities and health systems.
