Arjella van Scheppingen, PhD. Her research focuses on how to foster self-regulation in health in organisations. As being the principal researcher and on behalf of V&VN (professional association of carers and nurses in The Netherlands), she will present the ‘ParticipationClinic’, an intervention and national campaign aimed at promoting personal leadership of carers and nurses. She especially adresses the topic on how to start a movement in which carers and nurses are encouraged to develop and show more personal leadership. How? By experiencing themselves what it is to be old and need care.
