Fiona Herco is a Project Director at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). She oversees IHI's network communities in the Asia Pacific, including the Leadership Alliance, Australia and New Zealand. Fueled by a passion for improving health care systems she led a portfolio of large-scale projects at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and NorthWestern Mental Health, before moving into leadership roles focused on fostering positive and safe workplace cultures. She then moved into the role of Chief of Staff, responsible for progressing partnerships with health, academic and research organisations. Fiona is committed to tackling inequities and advocating for social justice, particularly in the areas of mental health and homelessness.
