Dr. Geneviève Digby is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, and Interim Co-Chair of the Division of Respirology at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. Her primary clinical practice includes general respirology and leading the Lung Diagnostic Assessment Program (LDAP), a rapid assessment clinic that coordinates the care of patients with suspected lung cancer. She has led several Quality Improvement initiatives in the LDAP that have improved the quality, timeliness, and equity of access to care for patients with lung cancer in Southeastern Ontario. Dr. Digby is also the Medical Director of Patient Safety, Quality and Clinical Risk at Kingston Health Sciences Centre. She has a passion for Quality Improvement in healthcare, particularly in terms of efficient resource utilization, timely access to care, and streamlining health care processes. She has an interest in implementing strategies that optimize healthcare resource utilization while yielding environmental co-benefits.
