in Knowledge Management and Innovation, a masters degree Program in
Healthcare Improvement and Patient Safety and an Executive Master of
Management Program in Consulting. Ms. Remo holds the position of
Government Chief Nursing Officer for Norway. She is Department Director in
the department of Competence Development at the Norwegian Directorate of
Health. She is central in development and achievement of nursing policy
strategy at a national level. Moreover, she represents the Norwegian
government in European and global fora regarding nursing. She is a member of
the WHO Euro Office, Network of Government Chief Nurses and Midwives
organized by Ms Maggie Langins, Chief Policy Advisor for Nursing and
Midwifery. Ms. Remo has years of experience as a nurse leader and manager of
community/primary healthcare services.
