Joanna is an AHP by background, with over 20 years of clinical experience in the NHS and Canada.

Over recent years Joanna has acted as the programme lead for delivery of the Remote Emergency Access Coordination Hub, a multifaceted systems innovation improving pre-hospital care across Northeast London.

Joanna is currently the Associate Director of Quality Improvement at East London NHS Foundation Trust, working with teams across the trust, and partners across two integrated care systems to deliver improvement and build capability and capacity for improvement at scale and pace. Joanna has experience in delivering QI training to post-graduate AHPs and surgical fellows across London and is an associate lecturer in QI at St George's University, London.

Joanna is a dedicated advocate for values-based healthcare, committed to empowering patients, service users, and community voices in the design and delivery of improvements. She is passionate about adopting a systems approach to drive meaningful and sustainable change, which delivers on all domains of value.
