Professor of Patient Safety, founder and former centre director for SHARE - Centre for Resilience in Healthcare. Boosting more than 50 researchers, SHARE is Norway's largest research centre on quality and safety in healthcare. Since it’s initiative in 2006, SHARE has become an acknowledged research centre in collaboration with regional, national, and international partners, now demonstrating a wide international recognition. As a safety scientist by heart, I have combined my competencies, methods and safety perspectives from sectors like transport and petroleum in my early career, translating this knowledge into healthcare. My research activities cover patient safety, resilience in healthcare, care transitions, applied in diverse empirical fields in primary and specialized healthcare. Published widely within the fields of patient safety and resilience, including a book on resilience in healthcare.
