Michelle is a nurse academic with expertise in healthcare quality improvement (QI). Michelle is a qualified nurse with 20 years clinical and managerial experience predominantly in acute care. Her PhD was measuring the patient experienced of hospital quality care and her programme of work focuses on improving the experience and outcomes of patients and practitioners by improving processes and systems. Michelle’s main areas of research expertise are patient and staff experience and implementation science. She has experience in instrument development, systematic reviews and qualitative approaches. Recent work has focused on research using realist evaluation.
