Attending Physician in Emergency Medicine, The Hospital for Sick Children; Canada

Dr. Sasha Litwin is a Staff Physician in the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Toronto. She holds an M. Des. in Design for Health from OCAD University, completed a Fellowship in Healthcare Design and Innovation at SickKids. Sasha is the Hospital Lead for Design at SickKids and Co-Leads the new SickKids Design Lab. She is the Physician Lead for Patient Experience in the Emergency Department. Dr. Litwin is an innovator in human‑centred design and design thinking, applying these methodologies to enhance experiences for patients, families, and healthcare providers.
