Drs. Stijn Slootmans is affiliated with the University of Antwerp as a teaching coordinator within Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and as a PhD candidate within the research group Workforce Management and Outcome Research in Care. Stijn is a nurse with a Master’s degree in Nursing and Midwifery. He specializes in team and leadership development aimed at creating excellent work environments and organizations, as well as coordinating and facilitating projects and innovative processes. Stijn combines academic research and teaching with practical experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating strategies to foster high-performance teams and sustainable quality improvement. He is eager to share insights on the influence of contextual factors and competencies on a culture of continuous improvement in nursing teams.
