Bente Skovsby Toft is a qualitative researcher with a PhD and master’s degree in health sciences, a bachelor’s degree in sports sciences, and a clinical background in physiotherapy. She is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Clinical Medicine, Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, Aarhus University. Her research focuses on person-centred health promotion and quality improvement, particularly within cardiac rehabilitation, using participatory methods such as co-design and patient involvement.
