Brede Aasen is a specialist nurse in mental health, with extensive leadership experience from all levels of mental health care in Norway. He has held leadership positions at the Psychiatric Emergency Department, District Psychiatric Centre (DPS), and since 2019 has he served as Clinic Director at the Psychiatric Clinic at Haukeland University Hospital. The Psychiatric Clinic has built a system for improvement work through a strong focus on competence and a culture of continuous improvement within its own organization. The clinic consists of 11 inpatient units, specialized outpatient services, and more than 800 employees.
