Dr PJ Harnett originally trained as a registered psychiatric nurse holds an MSC (Nursing) and MBS (Healthcare Management). He has healthcare leadership experience at national and local executive level in hospital and community services. Dr Harnett’s PhD was based on the design and implementation of integrated care for older people in Ireland including curriculum development, research and teaching, working with senior clinicians, policy makers, academics and multi-sectoral stakeholders. He is a Senior Associate with the International Foundation for Integrated Care and an Associate Adjunct Professor at Trinity College Dublin.
