James Beveridge is a PhD researcher in the iCARE team at Imperial College London—a multidisciplinary research group dedicated to developing collaborative digital health interventions aimed at improving care quality. His research focuses on the meaningful use of routinely collected data to measure performance and support real-world quality improvement.

He holds an MSc in Health Policy from Imperial College London, from which he received an international oral presentation award for his thesis on the impact of acute hospital mergers on the quality of care. This work was later published in the Journal of Health Organisation and Management, where he now serves as a peer reviewer.

In addition to his academic work, James is an experienced NHS programme manager. He has contributed nationally to the assurance of major hospital merger programmes and regionally by supporting provider collaboration and development of a clinically-led regional neurosciences transformation strategy.
