Professor Gemma Stacey is a mental health nurse, academic, and charity executive who bridges research, practice, and policy to create meaningful change in healthcare systems. Currently serving as Associate Dean for Practice at Nottingham Trent University, Programme Director of the Nursing Now Challenge, and Editor-in-Chief of Nurse Education Today, she leads strategic partnerships and capacity-building initiatives that translate knowledge into real-world impact. A Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with visiting Chair positions at the Universities of Melbourne and Maribor, Gemma has authored over 60 journal articles and 7 books, establishing herself as a thought leader in healthcare workforce resilience and person-centred practice.
