David is a first-opinion small animal veterinary surgeon and practice owner in the UK. He is currently completing a Masters in Veterinary Primary Care and Clinical Practice at the University of Central Lancashire. In his role as practice owner, he has responsibility for clinical governance and the development of quality improvement initiatives within the practice. Postgraduate training in the Model for Improvement informed a practice-based quality improvement project evaluating the use of local anaesthesia in small animal dental procedures.
