Isadora Vidal Pinotti Affonso, MSc, is an architect at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School, University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP), and a PhD candidate in the Public Health Graduate Program at FMRP-USP. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the Institute of Architecture and Urbanism (IAU-USP São Carlos), with a focus on Theory and History of Architecture and Urbanism. Her academic background also includes degrees in Architecture and Urbanism and Performing Arts. Her professional and research interests focus on Architecture and Urbanism applied to healthcare, with emphasis on healthcare facility planning and design, quality and management of healthcare environments.
