Saraspadee Veeramah is Associate Director of Quality Improvement at West London NHS Trust, where she leads organisational improvement, learning and transformation across complex mental health and community healthcare services.

With over 15 years of NHS experience spanning frontline mental health care through to strategic leadership, she has held roles across inpatient, community, safeguarding and performance management settings. This breadth means she leads system-wide improvement grounded in how care is actually delivered, not how we wish it was.

Saraspadee has designed and delivered large-scale quality improvement programmes that embed improvement as business as usual. Her approach integrates co-production, capability building and data-informed decision-making, enabling staff, patients and carers to lead sustainable change aligned with organisational strategy.

A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, accredited IHI Improvement Coach, Kaizen Practitioner and QSIR Teaching Faculty Associate, she is currently completing the IHI Chief Quality Officer Executive Development Programme. She is also a qualified European Mentoring and Coaching Council coach and an active Q Community member.

Central to her work is building data-confident cultures, not data-compliant ones. She supports teams and leaders to use measurement for insight, learning and action rather than assurance alone, making data accessible enough for frontline staff to make better decisions in real time.
