Deborah brings over four decades of dedicated service to the NHS, with a career that began in nursing and progressed through a range of senior operational and leadership roles within acute care. Since 2011, she has led the design and delivery of NHS Elect’s Improvement Networks, supporting hundreds of hospitals across the UK and internationally to enhance emergency care and services for older people living with Frailty. As Managing Director of Improvement Networks, Deborah provides strategic leadership for national quality improvement programmes, including the Thrombolysis and Thrombectomy in Acute Stroke Collaborative (TTASC). Her extensive experience in clinical operations and transformational change underpins her commitment to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based, system-wide collaboration.
